Dermal Fillers
As we get older, it’s normal to notice changes, we naturally lose bone structure, supportive fat pads, muscle strength, collagen, elasticity and overall volume. These shifts can make our features look less defined, and our skin a little less firm than it once was.
One gentle and effective way to refresh and restore these areas is with hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. These are soft, natural gel-like substances that are carefully injected to replace lost volume, smooth lines and subtly lift the skin. Fillers can also be used to enhance or contour features you’d like to define, such as the lips, cheeks, chin or jawline, while still keeping everything looking beautifully natural.
Dermal fillers work by supporting the tissues beneath the skin, helping to soften creases like smile lines, marionette lines, and folds around the mouth, while also restoring youthful fullness where it has diminished over time. They blend seamlessly with your own tissues, giving a refreshed appearance that doesn’t look “done”, just healthy, lifted and well-rested.
The results are temporary but long-lasting, typically lasting anywhere from several months to over a year, depending on the filler used and the area being treated. This allows your look to evolve naturally with you, and we can adjust your treatment over time to keep everything in harmony.
Dermal fillers are all about restoring balance, enhancing your natural beauty and helping you feel more like yourself again, only fresher. If you’re curious about what they could do for you, I’m here to guide you through your options with honest, personalised advice.

Arrive with a clean face free of foundation. I will apply a numbing cream to the areas to be treated.

You may feel short, temporary discomfort from the needle point entry. I use a special cannula that is designed to glide easily and with minimum pain.

If you long for fuller lips, want to improve a ‘gummy’ smile, or if your top lip has a tendency to ‘disappear’ when you smile these are all issues that can be corrected with lip fillers.

Cheek fillers help to smooth fine lines and wrinkles and act as a mid-facelift restoring lost volume and adding contour to the face. Rejuvenating and re-introducing structure and volume.

Results are immediate.
There may be some minor swelling, bruising, redness and tenderness from the injection site. This will subside within 5 days and full results will be seen in 2 weeks.
Avoid drinking any alcohol for at least 24 hours after filler injections. Alcohol causes your blood vessels to dilate and widen increasing the risk of bruising.
You can use an icepack or a cold flannel on the site to ease any discomfort if needed.

On average, most dermal fillers will last between 9-12 months, with some lasting even longer. The longevity of the dermal fillers depends on how quickly your body breaks down the substance.
